According to Gartner, the Ability to Execute axis "evaluates vendors on the quality and efficiency of the processes, systems, methods or procedures that enable their performance to be competitive, efficient and effective, and to positively impact revenue, retention and reputation." The company also states that "global enterprise desktop PC and notebook providers are judged on their ability and success in capitalizing on their vision."
In evaluating HP on its completeness of vision, Gartner considered criteria such as HP's market understanding; market, sales and product strategies; as well as its level of innovation.
"We believe being placed in the Leaders quadrant in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for 'completeness of vision' and 'ability to execute' reflects HP's innovative prowess and ability to continually deliver world-class IT solutions that directly meet the specific needs of our customers,"
said Anil Kumar, General Manager, PSG, HP Middle East.
According to the reports, Gartner classifies Leaders as companies that "register the highest scores on Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. They have wider geographic coverage, comprehensive sales organizations, financial stability, comprehensive customer support, broader product portfolios, longer product availability and larger market presence."
