Dr. Khaled Elamrawi, Intel's General Manager Egypt, Levant and North Africa, commented:
"As one of the most important emerging markets, our global chairman's visit supports Intel's long-term commitment to Egypt and its booming IT industry."
"Over 70% of Intel's business and growth comes from Emerging markets such as Egypt. At Intel Egypt, we realize the significance of collaborating with the IT ecosystem and local communities in order to empower tomorrow's generation of innovators," he added.
According to Elamrawi, the chairman will take this opportunity to make key announcements regarding Intel's educational and technological initiatives in Egypt. To date, more than 160,000 teachers have been trained through the successful Intel Teach Program.
