Mena Telecom and Manama Basketball Team sign on for another year

Bahrain based Mena Telecom, an investment subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain), and sponsor of Manama Basketball Team through 2007-2008, has announced that it will extend the sponsorship to 2009.
Present at the signing was Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Executive Manager Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH), representing KFH as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mena Telecom, Mr. Zuhair Kazerooni, Manama Club President, in addition to Mena Telecom team and Manama Club board members,
Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery commented on the event, "Mena Telecom has long been committed to promoting, developing and nurturing sporting excellence in the Kingdom. The Manama Basketball Club has made us proud and we will continue to support them in any way we can".
Mr. Kazerooni said, "We are grateful to Mena Telecom for all the support and encouragement we have received over the past two years, and with that support, we hope to bring home the Bahrain Basketball Cup in 2009".
Mena Telecom has been playing an active role in further advancing sporting talent in the Kingdom and will continue to support local clubs in achieving this aim.
