Jaguar Bahrain wins after sales service award

Assessed by Jaguar world-wide, the Bahrain agents for Jaguar Sales, Mohammed Jalal & Sons, Automotive Division, has won a performance award for its achievement in After Sales Service.
The increase in Jaguar sales world-wide, following the introduction of its new range of S Type and X Type models, has created a very busy time during the last year for (MJS) but even with the added pressure the After Sales Service division came out on top.
MJS was awarded impressively high grades for many different elements within the After Sales Service Performance Programme such as, ready on time ratio, parts availability ratio, technician efficiency, parts turnover ratio, right first time rates, and finally, initiative detailed key activities.
Vijay Kumar, presently Assistant Parts Manager, collected the award on behalf of the team. Mr Kumar started in MJS 28 years ago as Secretary to the Manager and has witnessed a tremendous development within the team and was also the winner of Parts Master in 1999 and Parts National Master in the same year. He is very proud that his team has been awarded this prestigious accolade and said "The team at MJS strives to meet the objectives set in reaching the highest possible customer service goals, monitoring results every four months in order to assure the success of MJS. I am very pleased to see that, with this award for 2002, our efforts have been recognised."
The team at MJS will now be concentrating on the 2003 programme, which will be to continue the drive for Jaguar Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty.
The automotive division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons was established in 1964 and holds the franchise for Jaguar, Peugeot, Suzuki and Subaru. The company has a full service department and body shop for all brands of vehicles and a comprehensive spare parts division located in Al Khamis.
