HP has signed a deal with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Egypt to train 100,000 people across the country's health, trade and education sectors. Dr Tarek Kamel, Egypt's Minister of Communication and Information Technology, said the aim was to 'raise the efficiency and competitiveness of the Egyptian work force in the global market'. The agreement is part of the International Computer Driving License programme that is being implemented by the Ministry in cooperation with UNESCO and the ECDL / ICDL Foundation.
