- United Arab Emirates: Monday, January 27 - 2003 at 12:41
- PRESS RELEASE
UAE residents booking SWISS flights with their Visa cards from now until June 15, will receive a 10 per cent discount on all air fares.
As a further incentive, UAE members of TravelClub, SWISS' new frequent flyer programme, travelling on business or economy class during February and March (2003), now have the advantage of accruing double miles, which can be redeemed for a host of benefits.
"At Visa, we are continuously searching for ways to offer more value to our cardholders. And considering the large numbers of UAE residents that travel to Europe and beyond on a regular basis, this SWISS promotion is the ideal opportunity for our one million cardholders in the UAE to take advantage of fantastic discounted rates. With common brand values of safety, reliability, efficiency and convenience, this promotional partnership between Visa and SWISS looks set for success," said Prem Patel, Head of Marketing, Visa, Middle East.
To avail of the Visa offer, UAE residents simply have to contact any travel agent across the Emirates, or ring SWISS' office in Dubai on 04-2945051 or Abu Dhabi on 02-6225500 for reservations. The offer is not valid for travel throughout April.
SWISS has created an efficient network that connects business and cultural centres globally, offering a trouble-free experience and excellent service in all classes, from economy to first class. SWISS currently operates a total of 31 weekly flights from the Middle East, including daily flights from Dubai, six weekly flights from Cairo, four weekly flights from Karachi, three weekly flights from Riyadh, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Tehran, and two weekly flights from Jeddah.
