On display will be 12 BMW and four MINI models including the newly launched BMW 750Li, featuring a 4.4 litre V8 engine with twin-turbo technology and direct fuel injection.
It will be joined by the award-winning BMW M3 and X6 models, the latest 3 Series including the 335 Convertible and Sedan, BMW 530i, BMW 135 Coupé and BMW 125 Convertible.
From the MINI stable the Clubman and hotly anticipated John Cooper Works, the most powerful MINI in production, complete the models at the AGMC stand.
"We have selected a range of our newest models to demonstrate the innovative and premium nature of the BMW brand, as well as the latest MINI vehicles that showcase exceptional design. The 750Li, X6 xDrive50i and John Cooper Works are sure to be crowd favourites as they represent a new era of automotive engineering."said Mamdouh Khairalla, Regional Manager of AGMC Sharjah and Northern Emirates.
At this year's show AGMC is sponsoring the BMW 1 Series Driving Skill Competition, which will give show goers the opportunity to drive the exciting BMW 125 model with marshalls from the Emirates Motor Sport Federation.
Over the course of the show drivers will complete a series of challenges to enhance driving skills, with prizes on offer for the winner.
"We are using the Sharjah Motor Show as a platform to not only display our exceptional BMW and MINI models, but also to promote the safety options of our vehicles" added Khairalla.
AGMC also announced the growth of its service and showroom facilities following increasing demand for its BMW products.
"AGMC has started its multi-million strategic expansion that will see the growth of our flagship showroom as well as a 60 million dirham investment in a state-of-the-art service centre in Dubai Industrial City. Increasing demand for BMW products, including our certified pre-owned car programme - BMW Premium Selection - has led to a considerable investment in facilities and equipment to maintain the level of service that is associated with the BMW marque."he said
BMW Premium Selection (BPS), reserved exclusively for pre-owned BMW vehicles that meet strict criteria, is another area of AGMC's business that has witnessed phenomenal growth.
While new car sales remain strong for the importer, AGMC says tighter economic conditions coupled by a growing aspirational population are paying dividends for the BPS programme.
To qualify for the programme BPS vehicles need to be less than five years old, have a mileage under 100,000 km and been serviced by authorised BMW importers.
