Arab Bank selected as best foreign bank in Yemen for 2007

The Yemeni Al-Istithmar magazine has selected Arab Bank as the best foreign bank operating in Yemen in 2007, basing its selection on a set of criteria, including advanced services, good reputation and high market penetration.
Arab Bank has also been selected as Best Bank in Yemen for 2008 by Global Finance magazine, in recognition of the major and pioneering role it plays in the country.
Arab Bank opened its first branch in Yemen's Hudaida town in 1972. Its network currently comprises 10 branches located in various major Yemeni cities.
Through its outlets in Yemen, Arab Bank contributes to financing various large-scale infrastructure projects such as electricity, communications and roads, among other strategic fields, in addition to financing external and local trade to enhance development.
Arab Bank offers an integrated set of advanced banking services, including retail banking (loans, credit cards, accounts, money transfers and others), along with corporate banking services and products such as loans and letters of credit.
