Over Dhs20m was spent on the refinement of the entire ground floor entrance lobby, pre-function areas, meeting rooms and ballroom; unveiling luxurious and flexible meeting rooms that are ideal for your weddings, socials, product launches and conference events.

It is the height of luxury as you enter the grand Al Thuraya Ballroom, with the ballroom at 660 square meters, accommodating events for up to 1200 people. With two walls of multiple 4.4 meter beautiful arabesque Mushrabiya arched screens, made of solid rosewood and backed with a silver mirror, it transports you to an Arabic palace. When backlit, along with the draped crystal ceiling, it gives the extra sparkle- adding that touch of drama. The colours of the ballroom combine royal blues and gold. The carpet has been designed to reflect the pattern used in the arabesque screens and pre-function area.
Emirates ballroom is a 290 square meters event space with contemporary design, suitable for events for up to 250 guests. The Renaissance Dubai Hotel's meeting spaces now have state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, each room has dedicated Bose amplifiers and speaker system, drop down high luminal projectors and screens, cordless microphones, CD/DVD players and audio/video/laptop connections throughout and additionally, user friendly touch screen control panel, video and tele-conferencing facility.
The new function rooms offer a choice of unique private dining rooms with classic décor, and touches of warm and vibrant colors. Rosewood paneling, glass beaded wall coverings and thick custom designed carpets are used in all the rooms. A combination of natural light and customized lighting plays a key role to the overall design of the new meeting space; adding that striking effect. Ten contemporary 1 ˝ meter high custom designed chandeliers from Italy have been suspended in the Renaissance's impressive triple height entrance lobby. Over 8000 dark red crystal beads have been woven into the spectacular chandeliers. The pre-function areas flanking the entrance lobby, huge oversized pendant lights have been custom-made where each pendant incorporates burgundy red silk fabric drums encased in strings of crystals. Smaller rooms, upside down pyramid shaped red silk pendants are installed and fixed directly to the ceiling with strings of crystals suspended in the openings.
Elegant and contemporary features include elegant beverage counters by the pre-function areas made of rosewood and backlit red textured glass specially designed for break-out activities. It is also perfect for cocktail events before the main event at the grand ballroom.
