Oman Air appoints General Manager for Oman Air Holidays

Oman Air recently appointed Nigel Stoker as General Manager Oman Air Holidays.

Stoker brings with him a strong sales and marketing background with over 20 years of senior management experience in the travel industry both in Australia and overseas. Stoker's wide-ranging experience in the field of travel and tourism has led him to work with some of world's leading industry names including Club Med and Harvey World Travel.

As GM Oman Air Holidays, Nigel will be building the holiday division and developing both inbound and outbound leisure segments.

Barry Brown - Vice President Commercial of Oman Air welcomed Nigel Stoker to the carrier's rapidly expanding family. Brown said:
"I am pleased to welcome Nigel to our management team as his wealth of experience will ensure that Oman Air is well positioned as we embark on our expansion programme over the coming years. Oman is springing to life and our airline will form an integral part of the Sultanate's carefully planned vision to become a leading holiday destination. The Sultanate offers one of the worlds safest and most enjoyable tourism experiences and as the national carrier we will be bringing Oman to the world."


The airline recently participated at this year's World Travel Market in conjunction with the Sultanate of Oman's Ministry of Tourism and showcased the exciting attractions Oman has to offer discerning travellers.

Commenting on his appointment, Nigel Stoker stated "I am delighted to be joining such a successful organisation within a rapidly developing market. This is an interesting phase of a growing airline, and I am excited to be part of the team which is geared to surge and raise the eyes of its peers. Oman has thousands of returning holidaymakers that is an endorsement of the rich and rewarding experiences on offer and our growth will put the Sultanate in reach of many more sophisticated markets. I am sure that with my team, we will be able to position Oman as a continual leader on tourism's world stage."
