Elite Jets, the luxury private jet operator based in Dubai applied in November 2007 and is currently the first and the only company in the commercial & business aviation industry in the Middle East region that obtained the IS-BAO certification.
After undergoing a successful audit by an accredited third party auditor, the flight department received a Certificate of Registration from IBAC.
The Certificate of Registration is valid for two years.
"I am extremely pleased that Elite Jets is the first to have gained the IS-BAO certificate."said Mr. Ammar Balkar, Board Member, President and CEO of Elite Jets.
"This accreditation of the renowned IBAC will greatly boost our growth and raise our reputation in the region and internationally. It will ultimately enhance our services & efficiency, and most of all add value to our customers", concluded Mr. Balkar.
Canadian based IBAC is a non-profit and non-governmental association which represents, promotes and protects the interests of business aviation in international policy and regulatory forums.
IBAC holds international aviation associations under its umbrella including the BBGA (Britain), CBAA (Canada), EBAA (Europe), GBAA (Germany), NBAA (USA), ABAA (Australia), ABAG (Brazil), BAAI (India), BAASA (South Africa), EBAA-F (France), IBAA (Italy), JBAA (Japan) and MBAA (Middle East).
One of the many benefits of the IS-BAO certification is that 3rd Party audits are no longer required for client's that wish to source our services.
For example the UN World Food Program will conduct their own audits on charter operators to assess if their staff & operational processes adhere to its stringent safety & security requirements.
Elite Jets is a member of MEBAA and NBAA and thrives on providing its patrons with safe, luxurious, private and comfortable air charter services.
With the IS-BAO accreditation our highly experienced management team and the dedicated on-board cockpit and cabin crew of Elite Jets, can continue to provide unparallel services in today's private jet charter environment.
Elite Jets was established in January 2004 in Dubai, UAE and provides charter, aircraft sales brokerage and aircraft management services.
The company holds an Aircraft Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the U.A.E. and currently operates a fleet of Citation CJ3, Hawker 850XP, Challenger CL604, a new Gulfstream G450 and the Falcon 900B aircraft.
Elite Jets also expects the delivery of another Hawker 850XP aircraft joining its fleet later in December 2008.
Other Aircraft expansions and Aircraft Management Agreements are under negotiation and will be announced shortly.
Charter clients include Royalty, Celebrities, VIPs, individual business and corporate executives as well as leisure travellers from the Middle East and around the world.
