Emirates Post opens new post office at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City

Emirates Post has opened a new post office at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, to cater to the growing demand for postal services in the area and future needs of the medical complex.

This is the 96th post office in the Emirates Post network.

The post office was officially inaugurated by Mr. Abdulla Al Khouri, Support Services Director, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City and Ms. Samna Al Sharifi, Director, 1st Postal Zone.

The new post office offers all postal and non-postal services, including government services, parcels, money exchange and remittances. The post office will be open from 8am to 3pm, Saturday to Thursday.

"The opening of the new post office is part of Emirates Post's strategy to take our services and products closer to our customers, including business people and professionals. Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is a project that has attracted leading international and regional players from the medical field. We have opened this office in anticipation of the huge demand the complex will create,"
said Ibrahim Bin Karam, CEO of Emirates Post.

Speaking on behalf of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abdulla Al Khouri said, "We are pleased to open an Emirates Post post-office at our campus as we aim to offer our inpatients services that will facilitate their stay at our hospital. SKMC is staffed by more than 4,300 employees who will also benefit from Emirates Post services which will be located at SKMC campus, quite close to their workplace."
