Citrix Systems, a global leader in virtual workplace software and services, alongside Mindware FZ LLC, the leading distributor of quality IT products to the MENA region and sole regional distributor of Citrix in the Middle East, brought IT industry leaders together for the fifth annual Citrix iForum conference yesterday.
"The response to the first distributor organised Citrix iForum has been tremendous. "This response validates the commitment of businesses to continuous evaluation of their IT infrastructure and highlights the value added advantages that Mindware offers its channel," added Christopher.
The iForum consolidates the expertise and the know-how of an unprecedented portfolio of speakers, commencing with an opening speech by Dr. Omar bin Sulaiman, Dubai Internet City's CEO, followed by a host of international, local and regional guest speakers including Stefan Sjostrom, Vice President - Citrix EMEA; Frederic Tourisseau, Vice President - Citrix Southern Europe; Naoum Moukarzel, CIO - Bank Audi Lebanon; Abdullatif Al Mulla, General Manager - Microsoft and Mike Hynes, General Manager - VERITAS ME.
With Microsoft, HP, Veritas, ADIC, Beta Information Technology and Trinec as the sponsors of the event, the Citrix iForum brings together technology leaders and visionary innovators to discuss topics such as remote office connectivity solutions and the fastest and most efficient way of getting new and remote offices working together. "We are proud to be a Premium Partner of the first iForum to be held in the Middle East," said Joseph Hanania, Regional General Manager of HP Middle East.
"HP is dedicated to promoting progress in IT solutions in the Middle East and believes in playing a key role in assisting organisations to achieve increased business performance. The Citrix iForum is a key knowledge exchange platform set to offer technology innovators a means of learning more about the latest technologies and solutions. These Server-based solutions are designed to improve business performance and productivity by insuring instant access to the applications and ensuring more security of information transfer over the network," he added.
This annual event effectively communicates a wide array of information on both virtual digital office solutions and Citrix applications, as well as their benefits and return on investment for many businesses.
