SME member provides aswaaq outlets with kitchen equipments

Apron Kitchen Fixtures Trading, a member of the Mohammed bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders (SME), has signed an agreement with aswaaq, a public joint stock company under formation, to provide aswaaq's centres with various types of kitchen equipment.

The first stage of the agreement is valued at around Dhs1m.

Apron Kitchen Fixture Trading, which specializes in industrial and domestic kitchen & catering equipment, has equipped aswaaq's Nad Al Hamar centre that was opened last month with all the equipment needed for the butchery, fishery, hot food and fruits & vegetables sections in the supermarket. These include freezers for food storage, butchery equipment, UV sterilizers, fish scaling machines, vacuum packing machines, chicken grills, microwave ovens, exhaust hoods, various types of wash sink and work tables. The company will also offer the same services for aswaaq's centre to be opened in Al Mizhir.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Saeed Omar Al Majid, Apron's Manager and owner, and Ms Najla Al Khaja, aswaaq's Leasing Manager, in attendance of a number of officials from both sides.

Mr. Al Majid stressed that this agreement represents the beginning of fruitful and long term cooperation with aswaaq.

He added:
"We will provide aswaaq's centres with innovative and state-of-the-art kitchen equipment that line with the international standards aswaaq is seeking to implement with the aim of maintaining health and freshness in the food stuff and products offered to customers in its centres."


He noted that Apron has supplies aswaaq's centres with high-tech electronically controlled and monitored equipment , adding that food storage equipment in particular have been linked with an electronic panel to monitor temperature and send an alarm in case of any change in temperature to ensure quick response and food safety.

On her part, Ms Najla Al Khaja reiterated, "aswaaq's keenness to support national business leaders, especially SME's members, whose businesses and companies offer excellent and innovative services in different fields. Aswaaq has largely relied on them to equip its first centre in Nad Al Hamar, and it will do the same in the other one that will be opened in Al Mizher soon."
