This is the fourth time that AXA has won the award. Customers selected their favourite insurance provider based on their experience with buying insurance - customer support, region wide assistance and competitive premiums. The voting was made via fax back forms and online through the Autocar website.

Alexis de Beauregard, Chief Officer Marketing & Retail Offering for AXA Gulf, comments:

'The people's choice award is a tremendous achievement and on behalf of the AXA team, I would like to thank all our clients and all the people who have supported us through their votes. Improving customer satisfaction is one of our main focus areas to become the preferred company in our industry. To see people recognizing our efforts to distinguish ourselves from others is without any doubt the greatest recognition AXA Gulf could receive.'

The online poll for various categories including 'Favourite Car', 'Best Dealer' and 'Best Insurance Provider' was open for the public to cast their votes on the Autocar website for over a two month period.

Jean-Louis Laurent Josi, AXA Gulf CEO, explains, 'AXA Gulf is working hard to make life more convenient for our customers and to become the preferred insurance company in the region. Our Valet service, car replacement operation and 24/7 call center are all testament to these efforts and we plan to introduce more initiatives next year. This award shows that we are on the right track and I am glad to see that our customers recognize these efforts. We will invest even more in 2009 in order to continuously exceed our customer's expectations with our service and products.'
