Commenting on this event, Mr. Mohamed Ebrahim, Chief Executive of Bahrain Islamic Bank (BIsB) who announced the Bank's participation in the Conference as a retail banking partner, said:

This will certainly enable us to offer everything that is distinctive and successful for our customers through providing them with the results of our experience and what we learn from the experience of others."
Meanwhile, BIsB has launched numerous retail banking products and ambitious finance services that are fully compliant with Islamic Sharia. The Bank has recently launched the Tejoori savings account that is considered as the first Islamic savings accounts that offers prizes to the accountholders. Also launched recently is the new Islamic Visa credit card that has the advantage of its own chip and PIN. Moreover, the Bank has expanded its finance programmes such as auto finance, property finance or such other products.
This year's conference will witness a number of added value activities that will make it different from previous conferences. This will include the release of the 5th edition of the Competitiveness Report prepared by the McKenzie Foundation in partnership with the International Islamic Banks Conference. This is the only genuine international report about the performance of Islamic banks worldwide and the major trends in Islamic banking.
BIsB has an extensive network of 12 branches throughout the Kingdom and it is considered as the biggest branch network of any Islamic bank in Bahrain.
