Tanmia holds graduation ceremony for 63 UAE Nationals who completed the customer service program

Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority, recently held a graduation ceremony for 63 UAE National jobseekers from Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, who successfully completed a comprehensive customer service training program.

The two-part graduation ceremony was held at the Dubai Women's Renaissance Association premises and the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies in Sharjah.

The intensive training program, conducted by Tanmia in cooperation with CompuBase and ModySoft, covered various elements of customer service including effective communication, problem solving, telephone techniques, dealing with difficult callers, handling stress, among others.

Feddah Lootah, Acting General Manager, Tanmia, said:
"UAE National jobseekers have been increasingly showing interest in the customer service domain, which is a very encouraging trend. Moreover, in recent years, UAE Nationals working as customer service professionals in various industries have consistently proven their skill and expertise in this field."


"We congratulate all the UAE National jobseekers who have successfully completed the customer service training program and we wish them the very best for their professional career. We are confident that the training program would have benefited them immensely as it covered all aspects of customer service, especially based on the demands of today's highly competitive and challenging work environment," she added.

About Tanmia:
Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development & Employment Authority in the UAE, was established by a Presidential decree in November 1999, to address the imbalance in the labour market, due to excessive dependence on expatriate workforce. Tanmia is engaged in a coordinating role, between national job seekers and employers in the private and government sectors, to facilitate increased entry of nationals in the labour market.
