Timothy Flynn, Chairman of KPMG visited Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar as part of the Making the Connection Lecture Series. The Office of Professional Development at Carnegie Mellon Qatar coordinates the series to expose undergraduate students to a variety of career paths and business professionals.
Flynn is dedicated to creating a values-driven culture that helps fulfill KPMG's 'Promise of Professionalism' to its people, its clients and the capital markets its member firms serve. He has given talks on leadership, ethics and integrity at a number of colleges and universities including Howard, Fordham, Yale and the Wharton School of Business. This is his first visit to a Carnegie Mellon campus.
By taking part in the Making the Connection Lecture Series, Flynn is sharing his vast knowledge of the field of finance with many up-and-coming graduates who are in the process of deciding on a career path. He is also building ties with Carnegie Mellon and Qatar that could lead to internship and job opportunities.
Flynn is one of many highly successful business professionals who are scheduled as part of the Making the Connection Lecture Series this academic year.
