At the three-day exhibition, KTS showcased its range of shipping and logistics services as well as its portfolio of projects particularly in the oil and gas sector. The company also highlighted the series of projects it has undertaken in Iraq as part of its involvement in the rebuilding of the country's basic infrastructure. KTS has of late seen a dramatic increase in volumes going into Iraq from the US, as well as from Europe and Asia.

said Mikko Wieru, General Manager of KTS.
'KTS' participation in 'Brand USA 2008' was designed to strengthen the company's business ties with existing US-based partners and to explore opportunities for new strategic alliances, and we are delighted with the results we have been able to achieve.'
Kuwait is the United States' fifth largest trade partner in the Middle East; bilateral trade between the two countries was pegged at over $6.1bn in 2006.
