German Hospital management specialists to open Abu Dhabi office
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, January 29 - 2003 at 15:46
- PRESS RELEASE
Fresenius Proserve, which specialises in international healthcare services and facilities management, is to open an office in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, to target growing Middle East demand for professional hospital management.
"Middle East national health systems face the challenge of having to advance health infrastructure, improve patient access to care and refine administrative and financial processes, while, at the same time, they must find cost control solutions that do not sacrifice quality of care," said Thomas Schutz, who will manage the Abu Dhabi office.
"Healthcare providers are realising that today's increasing complexity of functions and extreme budget restraints demand a highly focused, multi-market management approach to operating health facilities, which must excel in professionalism, if both care quality and performance goals are to be met.
"We have the skills and experience to deliver excellence of management and maximum value all along the services chain," added Schutz, who has five years of regional experience in the medical sector.
Fresenius Proserve is one of 195 German-based companies exhibiting at Arab Health 2003, that ends its successful four-day run at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre tonight (January 29).
Over 940 companies from 50 countries are participating in the show, the largest in the event's history. In addition to Germany, the UK, Italy, USA, China and France have fielded large government-backed delegations. The exhibition also features over 100 UAE-based companies.
