Speaking on its arrival, Mr. Ibrahim Al Hamer, Bahrain Air Managing Director said:

The arrival of this aircraft celebrates our expanding service to Kuwait, Khartoum, Luxor and Asyout."

"Recently, we announced our 4 newest destinations; these markets are already booking well for the late fall as customers are responding to our affordable fares. With ten routes to the already in our network, the A319 aircraft will give us even more growth opportunity in the months and years to come."

On this occasion Eng. Abdul Moen Bastaki, Bahrain Air's Senior Manger Technical said: " the aircraft is designed to optimise revenue through cabin adaptability and passenger comfort, the A320 Family feature the most modern and complete fly-by-wire technology available on any single-aisle aircraft in the 126 seat category. The A319 BAX is one of the smaller members of Airbus' highly successful single aisle airliner, known for its wider, comfortable seats, aisles and overhead stowage that holds more carry-on baggage, as well as the technological innovation that brings enhanced performance and reliability."
