Bahrain Air welcomes the 3rd aircraft to its fleet

The addition of this aircraft takes the total fleet size to 3 aircraft, with an additional on order for next year to take the total fleet size to 7 by the end of 2009.

Speaking on its arrival, Mr. Ibrahim Al Hamer, Bahrain Air Managing Director said:

"We are delighted to introduce our third A319 as part of our ongoing aim to constantly strive to cater to passenger needs and offer them additional value; this latest aircraft addition will allow us to cater to more destinations as well as increase frequency to current destinations. The arrival of this aircraft celebrates our expanding service to Kuwait, Khartoum, Luxor and Asyout."

"The arrival of this aircraft further underscores our commitment to be the leading low fared carrier in the Region," said Mr. Al Hamer.

"Recently, we announced our 4 newest destinations; these markets are already booking well for the late fall as customers are responding to our affordable fares. With ten routes to the already in our network, the A319 aircraft will give us even more growth opportunity in the months and years to come."
