The company is planning to launch Roland's VersArt Product Range and demonstrate the features and benefits of Roland's highly successful product lines at the trade show targeting the Marketing Communications industry.

Speaking on the event, Mr. M. Karthik, Sales Manager - Roland Division, Emirates Computers, said:
"Signage, Imaging and Media 2008 is a very focused event for the printing, signage and marketing communications industry in the region and perfect forum for us to promote our partner - Roland's best-of-breed printing solutions. The event gives us an opportunity to demonstrate the technical prowess of Roland's printing products and sign new customers. This year, we are launching Roland's VersArt series, which is designed for ease of use and can be operated by even a novice."

The new VersaArt RS-640 and RS-540 with ECO-SOL MAX ink were engineered to take advantage of Roland's leadership technology in wide-format inkjet printing to give the customer a competitive edge. The profitable new applications ranging from high quality indoor design proofs, photographic reproductions and posters to stunning outdoor banners, signs and vehicle graphics can all be produced on a single device. VersaArt prints reflect the highest image quality thanks to Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology, a unique three-dimensional ink firing system that precisely controls droplet size and placement for exceptionally smooth results every time. The customer can make a choice from a wide variety of media including popular new low-cost fabrics for soft signage and textiles.

"With the marketing and communications industry in the Middle East growing at such a fast rate, we see a huge potential for Roland's high-end printing products. At SIM 2008, we are also planning to showcase Roland's latest range of printing technology to visitors at the event," Mr. Karthik adds.

Roland, which is recognised as a world leader in integrated print/cut technology development, has had wide success in the GCC region with its SOLJET PRO III Solvent printers. At the exhibition, Emirates Computers will also be showcasing Roland Soljet Pro III XC-540 - a 54 inch wide, 6 color, print & cut plotter, Roland Soljet Pro III XJ-740 - a 74 inch wide, 6 color, solvent printer, Roland Versacamm VP-540 - a 54 inch wide, 4 color, print & cut plotter, and Roland VersaArt RS-640/540 - 64/54 inch wide, 4 color, solvent printer.
