Hydra Properties appoints Hesham Heikal to oversee finance, human resources, and administration functions

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and joining Hydra Properties' executive committee, Mr. Heikal will oversee an assortment of core business processes such as finance, human resources and administration, legal, and information technology in his new role.

Welcoming Mr. Heikal to his new role, Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim, Chief Executive Officer of Hydra Properties, commented,

A licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Colorado in the United States and a member of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors (ESAA), Mr. Heikal joins Hydra from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a New York-headquartered, industry-focused assurance, tax and advisory services firm.

He had momentous involvement in the firm's assurance practice in Abu Dhabi as a Partner since 2007.

Having worked with PwC for 14 years in various locations such as the United States, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, Mr. Heikal's extensive and comprehensive experience exhibits his competence to manage a position of increased responsibility.

Heikal served as a manager at PwC in California for five years and later rejoined PwC's Middle East operations in Abu Dhabi as a senior manager in late 2004.

During his tenure at PwC, The new Hydra Properties CFO has had intensive exposure in client servicing of companies whose sizes range from small, private enterprises to Fortune 500 companies.

With a solid background on real estate, technology, telecommunications and manufacturing, Mr. Heikal is poised to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to the multicultural and multi-professional talent pool of Hydra Properties.
