- PRESS RELEASE
Etisalat today announced that it has developed an innovative solution that allows mobile broadband subscribers to watch multiple TV channels on their laptops, while browsing the internet.
The solution, a combination of the Mobile TV and Mobile Broadband Internet services, offers a unique capability that allows users to watch up to 5 different channels simultaneously on one screen. This user-friendly and technologically advanced option is not even fully available in most of the television sets, and is likely to become a rage in the Mobile TV market.
Commenting on this solution, Mr. Khalifa Al Shamsi, Vice President Marketing, Consumer Services said "Etisalat has been a pioneer in launching customer centric solutions. This latest innovation is a substantiation of our core philosophy of increasing convenience, coverage and value for our customers. Providing benefits of mobility and flexibility of viewing multiple channels, this technically advanced solution will provide an alternative to the traditional television, and encourage the penetration of newer mediums like Internet and Mobile TV. " "There is no additional fee on this service and Etisalat's Mobile TV subscribers can enjoy this service free of charge," Mr. Al Shamsi added.
Demonstrated during Gitex, this solution was appreciated by many visitors and Etisalat customers.
