University of Jordan to open new campus

According to college President Khalid Karaki, the University of Jordan is to establish a branch in east Amman. The decision to establish the branch is part of the university's desire to create a specialised institute offering postgraduate degrees and to encourage scientific research. The site and the budget for the university have yet to be defined.
