Kuwait's inflation rate increased to a record 11.6% in August from 11.1% in July as food prices and the cost of housing rose, Bloomberg has reported, citing a government official who spoke on condition of anonymity. Food prices increased an annual 13.6% in August, while the cost of housing advanced 13.1%.
