This special event gave the group the ideal opportunity to interact with its Al Shaheen Priority Banking customers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

"As a priority banking service, Al Shaheen helps its customers with their investments and wealth management via a comprehensive portfolio of products from EIS Asset Management."
said Mike Solimani, Head of Priority Banking & SME at Emirates NBD.

"Considering the recent global financial crisis, we feel there is a need to engage with the customers more directly and share with them the outlook of the key fund managers of EIS. An "Evening at the races" helped us interact with the customers and address their issues directly," he concluded.

Over 70 priority banking customers and 20 key representatives from the Bank, including Mike Solimani and Deon Vernooy, the head of EIS AM, attended the event.

"The evening granted our valued customers an opportunity to enjoy the races from the comfort of the exclusive hospitality box of the banking group. We are firm believers in treating our affluent customers in ways that suit the lifestyle they are accustomed to by constantly adding a new dimension to the products and services we offer, and we look forward to more events of this caliber in the future."
said Vernooy.

In between races, Fund managers made presentations focusing on the current financial conditions and highlighted key messages.

Customers also got a chance to win premium gifts through various contests related to the races, ensuring that the evening's rewards were even beyond sound financial advice, which contributed by adding further more excitement to the races.
