Hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the half-day road-show aims at creating awareness to families in business on the importance of good governance and how it manages conflicts and ensures the successful growth of the firm. Drawing from the IFC methodology, the workshop provides practical steps to create and manage a family governance system that will work across generations.
The event also provides second and third generation members of regional business families with an interactive forum to share, analyse and discuss key business and governance challenges they are facing.
Hawkamah's workshop is held in association with the International Finance Corporation, and with the support of the Dubai Chamber, Shoora Advisors LLC, The Family Office, Waqf Trust Services and The Mudara Institute of Directors.
Consistent with our regional scope, the road show will also take place in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Jeddah, Kuwait, Manamah, Muscat, Rabat, Riyadh and Sanaa.
