The 2008 Dubai Ladies Masters, to be held at the Emirates Golf Club from December 8 to 14, is already shaping up to be one of the most emotionally charged sports events that have ever been contested in the UAE.
The Ladies European Tour has been working diligently on a number of celebrations for both Annika Sorenstam's final tournament, and the 30th Anniversary of their tour. There will also be many Swedish golf representatives, media and VIP's attending the event to take in Sorrenstam's final shots before she retires from competitive golf at the conclusion of 2008 to focus on other interests.
"golf in DUBAi' is working hard to ensure that the event provides a memorable experience to all those who attend. " It is really unheard of in the world of professional golf that an event of this magnitude is offered to golf spectators at no cost," stated Mohamed Juma Buamaim, Vice Chairman & CEO of golf in DUBAi.
As Co-Sponsors, Omega has enthusiastically sponsored a wide-range of events in the UAE sporting community, and their level of commitment has been a proven strength in developing the Dubai Ladies Masters into a first Class event that garners strong attention worldwide.
