FranExcel to host Singapore franchisor trade mission

Speaking on the trade mission, FranExcel CEO Sary Hamway said:

The trade mission will visit the United Arab Emirates on the 11-15 January 2009, and will see the delegates visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where they will meet with the local Chambers of Commerce, local dignitaries and visit existing and upcoming retail venues. The centerpiece of the visit will be a full day event in Dubai on Tuesday the 13th January, where regional investors and prospective franchisees are invited to attend an educational seminar, followed by presentations from the franchise companies, with the opportunity to conduct face-to-face meetings after the main program.

Singapore is one of the leading franchise markets in South East Asia, enjoying a strong regulatory framework and excellent support mechanisms designed by the government to facilitate the export of Singaporean companies and brands. The trade mission will feature companies from various sectors of the franchise spectrum, including food, retail and service-based franchises.
