Batelco awards long service employees

Batelco, Bahrain's leading Telecommunications Company, held a Long Service Awards ceremony recently, at the Sheraton Hotel, to award 178 members of staff who have been with Batelco for up to 35 years.

The awards were given for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service. 10 staff was given awards for completing 35 years with the Company.

They are Ali Abdulla, A. Jalil Abdrees, A. Ghani Abdulla, Ali Abdulla Ahmed, Maki Isa Abbas, Maki Thamer, S. Hassan Majed, Khalil Alsaegh, Fardan Aswad and A.Aziz Al Jamri,

Batelco Chief Executive Peter Kaliaropoulos who presented certificates and cash awards to each of the recipients said that he was delighted to honor the dedication of these long serving staff members.

"I am very impressed by the large number of employees who qualify for these long service awards. The knowledge, experience and skills which this group has gained during their years at Batelco are extremely valuable to the Company."
he said.

Batelco Group General Manager Human Resources Shaikh Ahmed Al Khalifa shared in presenting certificates and cash awards to staff for their completion of 35 and 30 years of service.

Batelco Coordinator of Travel & Immigration Ali Ahmed who received an award for 35 years of service to the Company said that the accumulative experience he has gained has helped him a lot at both career and personal levels.

"Batelco is a big university where each and every employee working for it learns new skills and gains diversified knowledge throughout his work tenure," he said.

The event was attended by members of Batelco's senior leadership team and management. Members from the senior leadership team also presented awards at the occasion.
