Running January 15-18th on Abu Dhabi Golf Club's plush National Course, a world-class line-up of golf's top international stars, including world number two Sergio Garcia, Ireland's world number four Padraig Harrington, 2007 Championship winner Paul Casey and Sweden's world number eleven Henrik Stenson, will all be vying to start 2009 with a victory in the UAE capital.

And with all the action unfolding under the watchful eyes of Abu Dhabi Golf Club's iconic falcon-shaped clubhouse, organisers are predicting the biggest Championship to date.

"We are advising people to get in early and claim their tickets," said Peter German, Tournament Director, Abu Dhabi Golf Championship - which is organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.

"The field for the Championship represents our best to date and with several improvements having been made to facilities for next year's event, including a bigger spectator village and enhanced sponsors' area and car parking, the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship will be the best so far and we are expecting record numbers,"

added German.
