UBIFRANCE organizes French Pavilion at Index 2008

The French Pavilion will host close to a hundred French companies will be present this year at the 18th edition of INDEX, the Middle-East international Furniture and interior Design exhibition scheduled to be held in Dubai from 3rd to 7th of December 2008.

Compared to previous years where the Agency has been organizing collective participations at Index, this year's edition has witnessed a strong increase in demand and participation of the French companies (90 in 2008, 53 in 2007, 43 in 2006).

The show will give the French companies the opportunity of an extensive international exposure to build regional contacts, due to mass scale visitors and quality buyers from the UAE and other GCC countries, as well as Asian markets.

In a move to raise their presence in the marketplace, a key component of their overall marketing strategy, the French firms will exhibit their latest trends and products to visiting developers, architects, firms, interior decorators and people dealing with construction industry.

There is fine wood, porcelain, lighting and decorative objects, furniture characterized by the French Touch and a high quality.

The French companies have products that this part of the world likes to own. They are adapting to the changes of the market.

Among others, The French companies, creator of contemporary and ethnical furniture, that reinvents the decoration of children rooms with original, functional and poetic pieces of furniture which invite to dream and trip.

Other French renown companies that will be present at INDEX, the biggest platform for furniture and interior design products and services in the region, will exhibit its entirely hand-made contemporary decorations and creations, displaying both outstanding collections adapted to the trends of decoration and to special requests from individuals or interior decorators, creators, developers and executors of multi-facet decorations, with many successful achievements in hotels and restaurants.

The aim of the French pavilion, set up by UBIFRANCE, the French Agency for International Business Development, is to reinforce professional contacts and provide new business opportunities between the French companies and the UAE market as well as other Gulf and Middle East countries.

Other French participants include are manufacturer of architectural doors, caved wood and resi panels, custom-made products for hotels, restaurants, palaces..., specialized in lamps, floor lamps, candle holders, etc... Creators of design furniture, respecting traditions, using high quality materials, focusing on chairs and armchairs, are offering wide-range variety of wooden floors that suit different styles, and specialized too, in a variety of stylish lampshades, lamps, and all types of lightings.

The French companies will display their products to reinforce professional contacts and provide new business opportunities between France and the UAE in particular and the Middle East region in general.

UBIFRANCE the French Agency for International Business Development is promoting French products, services and technical expertise throughout worldwide events like Index 2008.
