World-class marketing comes to Dubai

World-leading techniques in creating high-impact marketing programmes will be introduced to business leaders in Dubai next month.

Award-winning professors from Canada's Queen's School of Business will teach how to create customer value and drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Queen's Marketing program deals with four themes: aligning marketing with business strategy, understanding the key concepts of marketing, effective marketing tools and techniques, and the marketing plan - putting it all together.

Participants will learn how to develop marketing plans that use new marketing concepts and practices to achieve a profoundly positive impact on their organisation's business performance.

"In today's competitive marketplace, designing, communicating, and delivering customer value is the basis of successful marketing management," said Tom Anger, Executive Director with Queen's School of Business. "Our program teaches participants how to create marketing programs that matter." The intensive three-day course, run in partnership with Dubai International Finance Centre, is presented by Dr John Pliniussen, associate professor of marketing at Queen's School of Business.

The program begins on December 16 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. The programme will also run in Muscat, Oman, between December 13 and 15.

Queen's School of Business already provides customized business education direct to UAE companies as well as to government departments and the nation's Central Bank.
