The event was held under the patronage of Sheikh Saeed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The event, held on Wednesday, November 26, highlighted the heritage and customs of UAE.
The celebrations were also attended by Elias Bou Saab, Executive Vice President of AUD, and a host of other officials in addition to students and faculty members of the University.
Mohammed Ali Al Kamali, Sponsorship Manager of DSF Office spoke on the occasion hailing the historical decision of the rulers to launch the Union, which in turn, led to monumental achievements that we are witnessing today.
Apart from cultural events such as folk dance shows, several heritage tents were set up around the University campus.
