Dubai Quality Group organises 'Transforming Workgroup and Corporate Performance' seminar

Dubai Quality Group (DQG), in collaboration with e-TQM College, has announced that it recently organised the "Transforming Workgroup and Corporate Performance" at the Le Meridien Dubai's Granada Room.

The new seminar joins DQG's growing portfolio of customised services designed to help industry professionals and organisations remain highly competitive.

Leading international speaker, Prof. Colin Coulson-Thomas, Professor of Direction and Leadership at the University of Lincoln and Chairman of Adaptation Ltd, Cotoco Ltd and Policy Publications Ltd., was the main speaker at the seminar.

Leveraging his extensive experience as adviser to over 100 successful companies, Prof. Coulson-Thomas provided participants an alternative, research-based and tried-and-tested approach to transforming corporate performance in key areas, with examples of projects undertaken by pioneers of the new approach.

The seminar sought to help participants adopt a range of approaches available for improving performance and for them to focus on areas that offer the greatest growth and business opportunities.

Prof. Coulson-Thomas likewise provided examples of how pioneers have elevated the performance of key workgroups and how participants can benefit from these experiences.

In addition, the seminar detailed the factors that affect successful process improvement, process reengineering and effective management change, as well as healthy returns on investment.

The Transforming Workgroup and Corporate Performance seminar offerred a highly flexible format, which allowed it to accommodate participants from a wide range of background, including senior executives, internal and external advisors to senior executives; academics and students; planning managers/directors; finance managers/directors; senior business analysts; business development managers; Research & Development managers; business project managers; operation managers; market information managers; and IT professionals.

Prof. Coulson-Thomas, who has spoken at over 200 national, international and corporate conferences in some 35 countries, is an adviser on business development and corporate direction; he has helped over 100 boards to improve board and corporate performance and has reviewed the process and practices for winning business of over 100 companies.

Concurrently, Prof. Coulson-Thomas is Chairman of the Judges for the E-Business Innovations Awards; and is an Investor in People Ambassador.
