Sorouh made this important announcement at an inauguration event, held at Abu Dhabi Women's College under the patronage of H.E Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and HCT Chancellor.
The event attracted HCT students and industry professionals, including Dr. Tony Ciochetti, Chairman and Director of the Center for Real Estate at the U.S.A.'s prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Tayeb Kamali, HCT Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Sorouh's Director of HR Administration, also attended.
The rigorous Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration (Real Estate Management) has been designed to equip graduates with the skills necessary to be valuable assets to the real estate sector.
Commenting on the HCT scholarship program, Mr. Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of Sorouh Real Estate Company, said,

Participating in scholarship programs such as this helps Sorouh to achieve one of its key strategies which is to attract, hire and develop the best talent among UAE nationals from the HCT as the next generation of business leaders."
HCT's Dr. Kamali reminded attendees that "HCT has a mandate to develop the National workforce. We are confident."
He said, "that this new bachelor's degree will bring many UAE nationals closer to realizing their post-academic work plans. In addition, our partnership with Sorouh adds value to our objective of linking academia to the business world for the full benefit of our students."
The Sorouh scholarship recipients will be announced following a thorough selection process.
Higher Diploma graduates of the Higher Colleges of Technology's business programs, the Real Estate students now studying at Abu Dhabi Women's College and Abu Dhabi Men's College already have a strong background in business; they are now seeking industry-specific qualifications which will allow them to take up positions with organisations such as Sorouh.
As Sorouh's Mr. Al Ghafli said at the inauguration event, "A strong education program is vital to maintain the quality standards within the industry, and Sorouh is delighted to be working with the highest caliber of students from HCT to help them achieve their career goals."
