Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), the region's leading Islamic bank, has announced today the inauguration of a new branch in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), taking the total number of branches in the UAE to 45.

The new state-of-the-art branch is part of ADIB's aggressive drive to further expand its operations in the UAE and get even closer to its customers by providing them with efficient and hassle free access to the Bank's Shari'a-compliant and innovative products.

"In the coming year, our expansion plan will focus on the Northern Emirates market due to the great potential and opportunities that exist there; Ras Al Khaimah is steadily growing to become one of the leading economic and tourism destinations in the UAE," said Mr. Ali AlShaqoosh, Head of Branches at ADIB.

'The opening of our new branch will enable us to offer a comprehensive mix of innovative services and products catering to individuals and businesses alike, and will extend the bank's commercial and financial operations throughout the country" added Mr. AlShaqoosh.

With this new branch, Ras AlKhaimah's local and business community will have access to the highest levels of customer services and innovative Islamic finance solutions which ADIB has become known for across the UAE.

"We are planning to open new branches and install new ATMs in Dubai and Northern Emirates to rapidly expand our branch network within the coming year. The new branch, along with the existing one in Ras AlKhaimah, will service the residents of the emirate and neighboring suburbs too,"

Mr. AlShaqoosh concluded.
