Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co., the Ford and Lincoln importer-dealer in Saudi Arabia since November 1986, has sold an astonishing 100,000 vehicles.
The Ford Crown Victoria full-size passenger sedan has been the lynchpin of Al Jazirah's success over the years. 50,000 units have been sold including 10,000 units of the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, Ford's class-leading police patrol vehicle.
Jim Benintende, managing director of Ford Middle East & North Africa (MENA), said: "Al Jazirah Vehicles deserves tremendous praise for what is an immense achievement in a competitive market. The company's performance is a fine example to our dealer partners across the region and a ringing endorsement of Ford products."
Benintende continued: "Ford is committed to delivering customers in the Middle East greater product choice and higher levels of service, and today's announcement demonstrates why."
Headquartered in Riyadh, Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co. is the sole distributor of Ford and Lincoln products throughout Saudi Arabia with showrooms in Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, Al Madinah, Abha, and Al Qaseem. 16 sub-dealers cover the rest of the Kingdom.
