The agreement states to build an entertainment center for social care center in Al-Zour area.

The Deputy Chairman Sameer Al-Nefeesy attended the signature of the agreement on behalf of KFH. In addition to that, the mabarrah board member Abdul Aziz Al-Jaber, Undersecretary of Ministry of Social Affairs Mohammed Al-Kandary, Assistant Undersecretary for care center Jassem Ashkanani, and the General Manager of Al-Enma'a Real Estate Corporation Waleed Al-Jery attended with Al-Nefeesy.

Al-Nefeesy said that the social role that KFH is leading commits it to seizing social opportunities, in addition to the investment opportunities that are the bread and butter of the establishment. He added that the mabarrah attempts to have an efficient role in serving society, and sponsor other development projects, which will further serve society.

Moreover, he stated that KFH has established a hospital for addicts that cost KD4.5m and 15 ambulance centers that cost KD1.5m, in addition to many social programs that assist people with special needs.

On his side, Undersecretary Mohammed Al-Kandary thanked KFH and the mabarrah for their kind gesture, which has been a KFH trend. Such gestures make KFH a role model for the private sector to achieve social responsibility.

Al-Kandary added that the project would serve around one thousand care center inmates. He also wishes that this gesture would be the first for many others to follow from KFH's mabarrah, which aims to develop the society. Furthermore, he said that the ministry has finished 7 other projects with the help of the private sector.

On the other hand, the Assistant General Manager for the Support Services Sector and Al mabarrah board member Abdul Aziz Al-Jaber explained that the project consists of a 7400 m2 land that harbors a multi purpose hall, an entertainment hall, 3 full service residential units on 420 m2, and an indoor swimming pool. The facility can take 50 inmates at the same time. They will be able to visit the center year-round.

Al-Jaber affirmed that the mabarrah is currently considering many other social projects to serve society. Furthermore, the mabarrah welcomes any initiative or idea that cements its social role.
