Burj al Hamam was established in 1958 by Fayez Elias Khoury, a professional and successful Restaurateur with over 40 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry. Following the restaurant's widely successful start up, the concept was franchised throughout Lebanon in 2003. Expansion into other Middle countries started with Amman (Jordan) in 2001, Kuwait in 2004, Aqaba (Jordan) in 2005 and now the UAE in 2008.
Talking about the introduction of the franchise to the UAE, Fadi Khoury, owner and General Manager of Burj al Hamam, said:
"Ask anyone who has moved to Dubai and I'm sure they will tell you stories of how stimulating and electric an experience it is to come here. It's the same for Burj al Hamam. For me, Dubai is a place where anything can happen, yet it remains true to its vision."
Built on the core values of the Lebanese flagship, the restaurant in Dubai has an exciting new look - bolder, brighter and more glamorous to reflect the vibrancy of the city yet maintain its ethnic authenticity.
Mohi-Din BinHendi, founder and President of BinHendi Enterprises, added:
"We are honored to introduce Burj al Hamam to the UAE, considering its monumental status in its home country. This will also be a significant step towards adding to our diversified portfolio of high quality dining concepts."
Considered the 'place to go' for authentic Lebanese cuisine, Burj al Hamam is known for its variety of cold and hot mezzes, salads, mixed grills, fresh fish and seafood display and freshly baked bread.
Located in Beach Park Plaza, the new retail experience on Jumeirah Beach Road, Burj al Hamam is all set to make a mark in Dubai's eclectic culinary landscape.
Commenting on the addition of another brand new restaurant in Dubai mall before the end of the year, Fadi Khoury enthused, "Dubai offers us everything we need to take Burj al Hamam to a new frontier. And from what I see, it looks like we're all set for a very appetizing adventure..."
