US and Saudi sign technology agreement

The US and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement to encourage cooperation on science and technology. Some of the areas included in the deal are materials sciences, water purification, education methods, plant genomics and bio-technology. The agreement will help US academic institutions form partnerships with Saudi universities.
