An online booking system will enable Sharaf Travel and their authorised agents to use e-ticketing technology to issue clients with tickets for their journey to and from Heathrow airport before they travel, eliminating the hassle of waiting in ticket queues.
Mr V. Jayaram, General Manager said:
"We're very excited about this agreement which will enable us to increase our service offering and provide customers with a much more seamless and complete travel experience."
Jayaram added, "Not only is Heathrow Express the quickest way to get from Heathrow Airport to central London but the trains are stylish and modern, with increased seat and luggage capacity, and up-to-date BBC news via Express TV. We're absolutely delighted to be able to offer our customers this premium travel experience."
Customers will be able to purchase their Heathrow Express tickets when booking their holidays with Sharaf Travel from December 2008.
Sharaf travel is one of the largest travel agency in the UAE, with outlets in prime locations including Dubai, Jebel Ali, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Last year, the agency booked 2,500 clients on trips to London.
Heathrow Express operates seven days a week, with departures every 15 minutes during the day and friendly staff on hand. There is no quicker way between central London and Heathrow Airport.
