Savile Row, Saks 5th Avenue- The men's store, Zadig & Voltaire, Aiyanna of London, du, Ruby Tuesday, Haru, Mothercare , Emirates Islamic Bank, Feet First, Crossover Bollywood, and The Holiday Lounge are some of the names that have a presence at the first level plaza.
The Walk, which was launched in August 2008, boasts a total of 200 fashion, furniture and lifestyle stores, with a further 105 to be opened in the next few months to serve JBR residents as well as the entire marina district.
Haiyan Mujarkech, CEO, Dubai Retail:
"The Walk is gaining increasing footfall from residents of JBR, the surrounding hotels, the Marina precinct, as well as from Jumeirah. Most of our customers come to The Walk seeking an avenue to spend leisurely afternoons or stroll around the shops discovering new things to do. More and more outlets have opened up on the plaza level, which we believe will add to our visitors' experiences, especially those with an adventurous streak eager to explore the spectrum of options that are waiting to be discovered."
The Walk sees an increasing number of visitors passing through on a daily basis, food and beverages being highest in demand for things to do at the beach front avenue.
Shopping comes a close second with flagship stores such as Boutique 1 and Saks Fifth Avenue- the Men's Store setting up anchor at the unique retail destination.
A new breed of French fashion stores have taken up residency for the first time in the emirate, including Tara Jarmon, IKKS, and Zadig & Voltaire to name a few.
The Walk is also set to unveil a series of spas and beach clubs, accentuating the development's round the year beach resort offering, making Jumeirah Beach Residence not only the largest residential area in the world, but also one of the most luxurious with spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf.
As Dubai's exclusive beachfront retailer, The Walk is set to emerge into a premium shopping destination and marks Dubai Retail's emphatic footprint in the region's retail industry.
