'My Country My Loving Mother' song from Etisalat celebrates UAE National Day

Etisalat has recently announced its support for an animated video featuring a song titled 'My Country My Loving Mother' on the occasion of the 37th UAE National Day on December 2, 2008.

The song will be an integral part of Etisalat's activities to celebrate UAE National day.

The video, which will be broadcasted on a number of local TV stations with English subtitles for non-Arabs, aims to introduce UAE kids to the uplifting spirit of National Day and highlight UAE's achievements and thereby strengthen the spirit of citizenship and patriotism in them. The video features a character called Dana who is a smart, creative, and caring little girl and Click who is a cheeky, charming and curious cat.

According to Humaid Rashid Sahoo, CEO, E-Vision, said:
"The video and song highlights the wonderful achievements of this great nation, and is aimed at instilling love for their country and patriotism to the children of today. This initiative is in line with our commitment to inculcate the spirit of citizenship, and the importance of participating for the development of our beloved country. We are extremely happy to support this video that exemplifies the wealth of talent among UAE Nationals and participate with our fellow countrymen to celebrate the National day festivities."


Dana & her friends will take UAE kids through memorable moments across the seven Emirates to celebrate the National day in a special way. The video highlights important landmarks in the UAE & its significant progress and achievements through the song.

The animation video featuring the song has been produced and co-directed by Hanan Ghaith, an employee of E-Vision. The post production of the song was done at E-Vision studios. The melody & singing was done by Hussam Kamel in association with school kids.

The main characters in this video will be Dana, Click, Reem Um Oqoos (Dana's cousin), Humaidan & Obaidan (two neighbourhood boys), Grandfather Saif, Zafraan the Camel as well as Wed Wed the pigeon.
