UAE donates hospital to John Hopkins

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore has received a generous donation from UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to build a 913,000-square-foot cardiovascular and critical care tower in honour of Shaikh Zayed, Gulf News has reported. The two-12-story towers with 355 patient beds, operating rooms, and a teaching hospital expect completion by December 2010 and operating by spring of 2011.
