The tour included special emergency forces, where he was received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee; Prince Mohammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs; and Director of Public Security and Chairman of Security Committee lieutenant General Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani.

Security multinational Nurizon Corporation, is the first organisation to provide and demonstrate such an advanced fleet of emergency service and surveillance vehicles in the region, and the project has already received international acclaim as being a major step forwards in the provision of turnkey local public safety solutions.

Christopher Riddell, Chief Executive Officer for Nurizon Corporation, said:
"Nurizon Corporation is working closely with the security forces in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide the most advanced delivery of turnkey systems ever seen in the region to date."

Christopher also went on to say, "I am absolutely delighted at the response we have received from the security officials and leaders in Mecca at our recent demonstration, and this latest parade reinforces Nurizon's commitment to the region and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

All of the vehicles provided by Nurizon Corporation, are fitted with technologies ranging from ICOP Digital's market leading Model 20/20-W Mobile CCTV - Video and Audio Surveillance Systems, Automated Licence Plate Recognition (ANPR and MLPR), Mobile Data, Satellite Vehicle Location (AVLS), Vehicle Navigation and Guidance, Microbus Mobile Data Terminals (MDT), and Transflective In Vehicle Touch screens.

Nurizon Corporation has been working with a number of local and international partners over recent months to bring together the products and technologies, and adapt them specifically for the Middle East, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In Country partners for the project include Saudi Telecom Company (STC), who are providing the high speed communications data infrastructure to the vehicles, Bravo! (PTC) who are providing the highly acclaimed iDEN Push To Talk services to all of the vehicles, and various other companies such as Al Jazirah Motors Company who have provided the vehicles and support services throughout.

All of the police vehicles include Arabic and English Licence Plate Recognition technology, which is often also referred to as ANPR (Advanced Number Plate Recognition) or LPR (Licence Plate Recognition). This provides the security and law enforcement agencies with the most accurate and instant verification of vehicle ownership and latest intelligence information, without the need of a police officer having to pick up a telephone or radio, to make a check on the vehicle manually. Officers are automatically alerted by an audible alarm, and a message on the touchscreen installed in the vehicle, whenever a vehicle "hit" is discovered.

Prince Naif started his tour from the camp of the special emergency forces on the Makkah-Taif Road, after which he watched a field parade of security forces taking part in this year's Hajj including the Nurizon Advanced Police Demonstrator Vehicles, Special Emergency Forces, the Public Security, the Civil Defence, the Passports Department, the Mujahideen Forces, the Traffic Department, the Security Patrols, and the Road Security. Other government agencies also took part in the parade including the Ministry of Health, the Red Crescent, and King Fahd Security College.

Prince Naif was accompanied by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah region and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; a number of ministers and officials.

Nurizon Corporation is the exclusive Middle Eastern partner for United States, ICOP Digital Inc and Microbus Limited in the United Kingdom.

Nurizon Corporation operates a Regional Head Office out the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh City Centre.
