Children from the British School, Muscat and the American British Academy, accompanied by teachers and parents, were taken on a tour of the development. They were given a tour around the show apartments and villas and also taken on a visit around the construction site itself, and were able to view the different aspects of the project at close quarters.
For many this was their first visit to a master planned community under construction. The experience was cherished dearly by all and they thanked the management for sharing their expertise and insights and spending some time with the children to help them gain first hand knowledge on how mixed use residential cum commercial communities are built.
Nick Smith, CEO, The Wave, Muscat, said:
"We are delighted to welcome the children to the development and to show them around our project,. We hope the visits have been helpful for them with their individual school projects as well as giving them an opportunity to see the construction of our project in progress and to have to some whilst learning."
This is Oman's first master planned community which integrates an 18 hole links golf course, a 300 berth marina, a retail environment as well as 3 luxury hotels within a residential community.
