The delegation was received by senior DSOA officials including Engineer Khalil Shalan, Director of Operations and Facilities, and Mohammed Al Awadi, Senior Manager, Technical Operations, who briefed the Dubai Police officials on the latest security measures implemented within the technology park.
Commenting on the visit, Engineer Shalan said:
"Dubai Silicon Oasis has witnessed tremendous growth over the past few years and built a strong reputation as a provider of premium services and unique facilities. Security is given top priority and DSOA has initiated adequate measures to ensure a safe working environment for tenants and investors."
The Dubai Police delegation commended the existing security arrangements at DSO and invited the security personnel operating at DSO to take advantage of the training available with the Dubai Police Academy.
A wholly-owned entity of the Government of Dubai, DSO operates as a free zone technology park for semiconductors, microelectronics and other electronics-based companies looking to set up their regional headquarters and R&D divisions in Dubai.
