Abu Dhabi Future Energy Co is investing $600m in two factories that will be run by Colexon Energy, a German company that is building the world's largest thin-film solar rooftop, reported Bloomberg. The partnership guarantees Colexon delivery of modules with a peak capacity of more than 150 megawatts until 2013, the Hamburg-based company said in a statement. Masdar PV GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Future Energy, will build and operate a 70-megawatt plant in Erfurt, Germany and one twice that size in Abu Dhabi.
